How reputation works
The community keeps Cannock Ads clean. These are the rules the system runs on — no hidden algorithms, no shadow bans.
Tiers

Your tier appears on listings. Higher tiers report with more weight and keep ads live longer. New members can still report, but their reports don’t add weight until Member.
Points
- +2Report upheld on review
- +1Sold listing completes its 3-day stamp window and archives (once per listing)
- -5Your listing removed after reports upheld
- -3Report rejected — listing was legitimate
- -3Repeated Sold ↔ Available on the same ad (farming)
Reporting
- Signed-in members can report illegal, prohibited, scam, spam or fake listings.
- When combined report weight reaches 3, the listing is hidden automatically pending review.
- Upheld: listing removed, reporters rewarded, seller penalised.
Rejected: listing restored, reporters penalised.
Abuse protection
- Sold reputation waits 3 days (while the Sold stamp is live), then applies once when the ad archives. Setting Available again cancels the pending point.
- Reputation at or below -10 triggers an automatic 30-day suspension.
- 3 false reports within 30 days also triggers suspension.
- Suspended members can’t post, report or contact sellers, and their listings are hidden.
- Every point change is logged on your account page.
